Notes: Château d'Aon is a strong eighteenth century house in the town of Hontanx, in the French department of the Landes. It is built on a motte, already occupied by the old church of St. Blaise, dating from the eleventh or twelfth century, and which will become its chapel. The facades and roofs of the castle and its chapel of St. Blaise, including the painted decorations that contain remains and the soil and the subsoil of the castle mound, subject to registration under historic monuments by order of 29 February 1988.
