Notes: The castle of Fauga is a castle located in the commune of Port-Sainte-Foy-and-Ponchapt in the Dordogne. The castle has been registered for historical monuments since 22 November 1989.The castle has a central body flanked by two wings, and a circular tower capped with a stone dome. Today it is part of a vineyard property. A second building, located on the side of the road at 435 m as the crow flies, also bears the name of Fauga Castle. Of a somewhat colonial style and of ocher color, it is more of a big house than of a castle.
