Notes: Château de la Mothe-Gajac is a private person property in the municipality of Saint-Médard-en-Jalles Gironde (France). It is located in a little stratégiqueNote Gajac Zone 1 area (also written Gayac) but to monitor the right bank of the Jalle near the highway Bordeaux Lacanau. It is registered as an historic monument April 26, 2013 under the reference PA00083786. The first mention of the castle dates to 1289, when Edward confides his first castle of Blanquefort in Arnaud Lacaze priest, but the current building was rebuilt after the Hundred Years War. Although little developed, is one of the few castles remaining in the Bordeaux region.
