Notes: The Château de Malleret is a vineyard of over 54 hectares in the commune of Le Pian-Médoc Ludon-Médoc in Gironde. Located in the Haut-Médoc AOC, it bears the name of superior cru bourgeois. The two side pavilions date from the seventeenth century when the house and farm buildings are from the late nineteenth century. The dining room was adorned with wood paneling taken to the Church of the factory in Bordeaux and living room with original wood paneling in Vienna Austria. The set is surrounded by a park. The terroir of Château de Malleret is one of the oldest in the region. The vineyard represents 54 hectares planted to 46% Merlot, 41% cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc by 10.5% and 2.5% Petit Verdot. The vineyard is divided into three plots of the same size and well drained. It is located on bass 5 to 6 meters resting on a base of sand and hardpan. The vineyard has an average age of 35 years.
