Notes: Château de Montaigu is a former castle, founded in the tenth century to 950, the remains of which stand in the town of Mercurey in the department of Saône-et-Loire in Burgundy. The castle was the center of the ducal lordship of Montaigu possession of the Dukes of Burgundy.
