Built: 14th century.
Condition: Ruins.

Notes: Château de Coatfrec is located in the town of Ploubezre in the Côtes d'Armor department, south of Lannion, on the left bank of Léguer. In the Middle Ages, the castle used to defend the country from the available Léguer as the castles of Tonquédec upstream on the right bank and Runefau destroyed in 1525. The castle now under construction, is not open to the public unless exceptional events (such as days of the 2013 Heritage).
