Notes: Château de Lods is a castle, old fortress, located in the municipality of Lods in the French department of Doubs.The castle is an old fortified house of the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth century, property of the Lords of Thoraise to control the salt road, against the top of the Loue1. Over the ages, it often changes owners: Counts of Montbeliard, Lords of Montfaucon, Jacques de Thoraise, Nicolas Perrenot Granvelle, Cardinal Anthony Perrenot Granvelle and various other individuals and families will have the castle in their field. The home of the castle is modernized in the sixteenth century. The castle has an inscription as historical monuments since November 20, 2003.
