Location: Gif-sur-Yvette, in the Essonne departement of France (Ile-de-France Region).
Built: 18th century.
Condition: In good condition.

Notes: Château de l'Ermitage, is a French castle in the town of Gif-sur-Yvette and the department of Essonne. It was built in 1831 by Baron Méneval, secretary of Napoleon. In 1938, after several sales, the municipality becomes the owner and installs the mayor and other municipal services.
