Notes: Château Levat is a Levat Montpellier madness located at 44 Avenue Saint Lazare, Montpellier, Hérault.The building stands on large terraces that are accessed by four steps. It includes a floor on ground in garden gently sloping hollow tile roof. In length, it develops on each floor a row of eight holes, three located in the middle of the lower level being semicircular patio doors. This entire level has an apparatus to shear walls, characteristic of the neoclassical vocabulary.The interior design includes plasterwork in the lounges. The above doors representing subjects taken from La Fontaine's Fables. The assembly comprising the castle, the two side terraces and the rear terrace, including wrought-iron balconies of the main and side facades subject to a registration as a historic monument since April 12, 1944.
