Notes: Châteaux de Château-Verdun et de Gudanes and Gudanes designate several noble buildings the medieval and modern periods in the territory of Château-Verdun French commune present in the department of Ariege. It remains today two buildings: - The medieval castle called "Castle Landres" in ruins overlooking the village of Château-Verdun - And Castle Gudanes built in the eighteenth century on the edge of the amount road to Plateau de Beille on a ledge overlooking the confluence area Aston and Ariège. Castle Gudanes and the portal and grid, soils of the rising driveway and three terraces, the subject of a classification as historical monuments since June 14, 1994. Threatened with ruin by inadequate maintenance, the castle was bought in 2013. It is currently being restored.
