It should not be confused with the castle Veuzac near Villefranche-de-Rouergue.The facades and roofs of the castle, chapel and common, and the staircase and the stone fireplace in the lounge on the ground floor of the castle are the subject of a registration the inventory of monuments historic since May 30, 1989.He had to be a noble family of that name from the twelfth century, since one finds the troubadour Bernart Venzac.
