Location: Andillac, in the Tarn departement of France (Midi-Pyrenees Region).
Built: 12th-19th century.
Condition: In good condition.
Ownership / Access: Privately owned.
Notes: Château du Cayla is located in the town of Moyrazès - near Rodez - in the department of Aveyron (France). It is built on top of a hill steep slopes, located above the river Aveyron. Moyrazès, which still has a very old stone bridge over the Aveyron, served as a step on the road from Villefranche-de-Rouergue in Rodez. The castle in the village center was a residence of the bishops of Rodez destroyed in 1500.
