Notes: Château de la Flocellière is a castle located in the municipality of La Flocellière in the canton of Pouzauges Vendee. The first traces of the lordship of Flocellière date from the eleventh century. In the thirteenth century, the castle is increased, then the following century, the keep is enlarged. The troops of the Duke of Mercoeur take the castle during the wars of religion. The infernal columns during the torch Vendée wars. The Alquier baron restore and transform the castle by architect Arsene Charrier in the early 1880s.
