Notes: The castle of La Pelissonnière is a castle located in the commune of Le Boupère, in the canton of La Châtaigneraie in Vendée.The property is an old Renaissance manor house comprising in 1647 a dungeon and a main mansion. It was transformed in the nineteenth century for Viscount Zénobe Frotier de Bagneux who installed the large fireplace at the priory of Mouzeuil-Saint-Martin. In 1828, the Duchess of Berry stays at the castle. Owned by a private individual, it is partly listed (tower and chimney) as historic monuments in 1997.
