Notes: Château de Serrant is located in France, in the municipality of Saint-Georges-sur-Loire in the department of Maine-et-Loire, about fifteen kilometers west of Angers. The castle is essentially Renaissance, built on the site of a medieval castle in slate. Moat attest to the period Serrant was a stronghold watching the passage of the Loire.
