Notes: Château des Roches-Baritaud is a castle located in the municipality of Saint-Germain-de-Prinçay, in the township of Chantonnay in the Vendee. In the thirteenth century, the Lord is John Chasteaubriant. The family of Chateaubriant retains the castle until 1738. It was then acquired by Count Jean-Antoine Olivier Senozan and his wife (née Lamoignon). In 1756 the Count Claude de Beauharnais bought the castle. He then goes to his son Claude-admiral de Beauharnais. The Marchegay to become owner in the nineteenth century. The current castle dates from the fifteenth century.
