Notes: The castle of Pernant (often mistakenly called the "Donjon de Pernant") is a small medieval fort located in Pernant, Soissonnais, France. It constitutes the historical part, classified monument, of a more important ensemble, the domain of Pernant, seat of cultural and musical activities. With the keep of Ambleny, the castle of Armentières-sur-Ourcq and the tower of Septmonts, it is one of the last vestiges of the military architecture of the fourteenth century still standing in the department of Aisne.
