Notes: Château d'Annecy is an ancient castle of the twelfth century, rebuilt several times, including the counts of Savoy between 1430 and 1487 and between 1533 and 1571 by the Geneva-Nemours, which stands on the town of Annecy in the department of Haute-Savoie, in region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Former residence of the counts of Geneva and dukes of Genevois-Nemours, Château d'Annecy since 1953 is the property of the city that has been renovated and transformed into a museum. Annecy Château is the subject of a classification as historical monuments by order of 12 October 1959.
