Notes: Château de Chazey-sur-Ain is a former castle, founded in the twelfth century by the lords of Coligny, rebuilt in the fifteenth century and restored in the nineteenth century, the center of the Lordship of Chazey, which stands in the municipality of Chazey- sur-Ain in the department of Ain region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The castle is the subject of a registration as historical monuments by order of 18 February 1987.
