Notes: Château de Duingt or château de l'Esplanade is an ancient castle, rebuilt in the fourteenth or fifteenth century, the ruins stand in the town of Duingt in the department of Haute-Savoie region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Castle Duingt there remains only a ruined octagonal tower above the village and the speaker remains. The keep has the distinction of being hexagonal outside and circular inside. According to Louis Blondel, this circular tower resembling that of Châtillon was redesigned externally in the fourteenth or fifteenth century. Its floors communicate via a spiral staircase.
