Notes: Château de l'Arthaudière is a former stronghold of the thirteenth century rebuilt several times, which stands in the municipality of Saint-Bonnet-de-Chavagne in the Isère department in Auvergne region Rhône-Alpes.The castle and common, farm, wells, gates, terraces, pavilions and walls closing are subject to a classification as historical monuments by order of 30 December 1991.The castle, much modified and partially destroyed by fire, and that there are still some vestiges of its quadrangular enclosure consists of a rectangular house of the late Middle Ages flanked by a round turret. During the work undertaken for transforming the former stronghold in an austere remains was built a gallery with floor against the wall and against Western pregnant round tower. At the junction of the Renaissance portico with North buildings, was installed in the eighteenth century, a spiral staircase. The latter was likely to find previously against the keep oblong. The monumental staircase and the work of the east wing, dating from 1680. In 1726 and then in the nineteenth century other work place and especially the round tower is raised by a polygonal volume of brick, covered terrace.
