Notes: The castle of Longeray is a castle of the nineteenth century located in France in the commune of Barberaz, in the department of Savoie in Auvergne-Rhone-Alps.The first mention of the castle indicates that, at the beginning of the eighteenth century, it belonged to the Chambery merchant family Laracine, which also owns part of the surrounding houses and vineyards. In 1793, the estate belonged to Laurent Laracine. It is then owned by the families Gotteland, then Bouvier and finally Longray. The castle, four storeys high, has a more or less rectangular shape. It has two circular towers, one at its northwest corner and the other at the southeast corner. The roof consists of two slopes on the main part, eight slopes on the northwest tower and only one on the south-east tower.
