Location: Siccieu-Saint-Julien-et-Carisieu, in the Isère departement of France (Rhone-Alpes Region).
Built: 13th century.
Condition: In good condition.
Ownership / Access: It currently serves as a holiday center.
Notes: The Château de Saint-Julien or Saint JULLIN is a former stronghold of the thirteenth century reworked repeatedly that stands in the municipality of Siccieu-Saint-Julien-et-Carisieu in the Isère department and the Auvergne region -Rhône Alps. The castle dates from the thirteenth century. Partially destroyed during the Revolution, it was rebuilt in 1836 by the Countess of Chaponay. Some elements like the keep are then added, although they are not included in the original buildings. Since 1960, it serves as holiday center.
