Notes: The manor of Rigaudière is an old strong house of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries which stands on the commune of Jassans-Riottier in the department of Ain and the Auvergne-Rhone-Alps region. The manor is registered as historic monuments by decree of 14 March 1996.At the end of the sixteenth century and at the beginning of the seventeenth century, the stronghold at Riottiers was the possession of Martin de Couvet, baron de Montribloud, who died in 1617. After him, he passed to Martin II de Couvet, baron de Saint-Olive, his second son, and then to Jean de Couvet, his eldest son, father of Nicolas de Couvet, who died in 1652. Antoine de Couvet, son of Nicolas, passed him on to Jean-Baptiste de Couvet, father of another Jean Baptiste. Des de Couvet, the Rigaudière passed to the Hubert family of Saint-Didier, who took over the fief in 1777.
