Notes: Château de Peixotto is a castle located in the town of Talence, Gironde. The castle was built around 1760 by architect François Lhote on behalf of wealthy banker Samuel Peixotto (1741-1805). In 1810, his son sold it to the Rodrigues-Henriques family. It passes baron Francis Xavier Espeleta in 1852. The Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Bordeaux there created a botanical garden in 1884 on part of the grounds of the castle. The monument is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since May 23, 1935.
