Notes: Château d'Ô is a castle located in the town of Mortrée, in the French department of the Orne in Normandy. The gardens consist of lawn beds, a vegetable garden and an orchard surrounded by walls. The castle park is surrounded by fence walls with gates and grills. It is covered walkways, river, canals and bridges and has a pond and its island, a mill with its reach. The castle and the park's elements are subject to protection as historical monuments since 19,601 years. First by order of 17 September 1964, the castle, the dovecote and the facades and roofs of the building parallel to the castle are classified as historical monuments; the chapel and the orangery facades and roofs of the building are listed on the inventory of historical monuments. Then the facades and roofs of the buildings of the castle farm are listed by order of 29 August 1977. Finally, the castle park, that is to say, closing the walls, gates and grilles, avenues, grass lawns, fruit and vegetable gardens and walls, the hydraulic system comprising the river, canals and bridges, Wolfshead jumps, ditches and bridges, the pond and its island, the reach of the mill with its valves, facades and roofs of the mill, the house and the bridge charretterie subject to a final registration as a historic monument by decree of May 22, 2002.
