Preceded by an avenue of plane trees, a stone bridge over the Botoret and a doorway, the castle consists of a large rectangular main building flanked on its northeast and southeast corners of two round towers , of unequal size. The north-eastern tower, which is the biggest, seems to date back to the fifteenth century. A long, low building is leaning against the west facade. The castle is owned by the municipality of Chauffailles and can not be visited.
