Castle Facts:

Location: Fleurville, in the Saône-et-Loire departement of France (Bourgogne Region).
Built: 1600.
Condition: In good condition.
Ownership / Access: Converted into a hotel and restaurant, owned by France and Pascal Lehmann.
Notes: Chateau de Fleurville is located in the municipality of Fleurville in Saône-et-Loire, on a terrace overlooking the Saône. The buildings surround a rectangular courtyard which is accessed through a portal to the north formed a cart door basket-handle and a semicircular pedestrian gate, each inscribed between two pilasters vermiculé boss on a two and crowned with pediments framing a broken cartridge whose arms were bûchées. A small square tower flanked to the west this portal. The body of principal building, which underwent multiple revisions, extends east. Elongated rectangular plan, it consists of a ground floor and a square floor under a gable roof. It is flanked on the northeast corner is a circular turret. Against its southern gable, builds a big square flag with a floor, a half floor and attic floor with skylights with triangular pediments, topped by sinking balls. The castle is privately owned.
