Notes: Château de Coatilliau is located in the town of Ploubezre, Côtes d'Armor. It was owned by the family Kergariou seventeenth to the twentieth century. Benjamin Jollivet, author of a book on the Cotes d'Armor, wrote in 1859: "Coatiliou is a modern castle belonging to Mr. Kergariou, one of the descendants of Alexander Kergariou, which in 1586 was appointed captain-governor of the town and castle of Morlaix. This house has a very beautiful park. Forward, we see two deep moats were formerly put boars.".
