Notes: The castle of Fourg is a castle, protected from historical monuments, located on the town of Fourg in the French department of Doubs.A first seigniorial residence was built at the time of the conquest of Franche-Comte by Louis XIV, at the end of the sixteenth century by François Faton. It was then reworked in the 1770s. At the end of the twentieth century, the castle was the seat of the Marcelle and Robert de Lacour foundation, created by Marcelle de Lacour, a renowned harpsichordist. The castle has been registered for historical monuments since 9 September 1998.
