It is in this castle that was born Gui de Bourgogne which will become in 1119, Pope Callistus II The current building dates back to the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries and has undergone restorations to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The facade and roof of the tower and the part of the oven are listed as historical monuments since November 8, 1991.
