Notes: Château d'Assier is located in the Lot department and the Languedoc-Roussillon region Midi-Pyrenees in the town of Assier. It is an exemplary testimony to the spread of Renaissance art outside the castles of the Loire Valley. Castle Assier, like hundreds of other monuments, state property is managed, lively and open to the public by the Centre for National Monuments.Built between 1518 and 1535 in the style of the new pleasure palaces, it is the work of Jacques Galiot Genouillace first master of arms of Francis.
