Notes: Logis de Nanclas is located on the town of Jarnac in the Charente.The land belonged to the Nanclas Laisné family whose most famous member was Laisné Isaac, Lord of Nanclas, lieutenant general of the king's army, died in 1704. Nanclas Sarlandie goes to the family and will be the dowry of Anne Sarlandie who married Pierre Arnaud, Attorney presidial seat of Angouleme. The home of Nanclas, the portal and the loft were registered historic monuments December 31, 1985.
