Location: Seyne-les-Alpes, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence departement of France (Provence-Alpes-Cote-d-Azur Region).

Notes: Citadelle de Seyne is located in the territory of the French town of Seyne-les-Alpes, in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.Built in the late seventeenth century, according to Vauban, the Citadel of Seyne-les-Alpes stretches on the crest of the rocky outcrop called "Robine". It dominates all fortified (ramparts, bastions ...) to protect Seyne, then city border attacks Savoyard, enemies of the king of France, Louis XIV. It is the subject of a classification as historical monuments since August 23, 1978 and is subject to a registration as a historic monument since August 23, 1978.
